How We Work
For homeowners across New Haven, CT and the surrounding area, the work starts with a call. A homeowner tells us what they are noticing, a stain on a ceiling, a shingle in the yard after a windy night, a gutter that overflows every time it rains, and we ask enough questions to know what to expect before a truck is scheduled. Some of that first conversation is just narrowing down whether it is a repair situation or something bigger.
From there, someone from the crew inspects the property in person. That means getting on the roof when it is safe to do so, checking the attic side when access allows, and looking at flashing, valleys, and gutter lines rather than guessing from curb appeal. A roof that looks fine from the driveway can still have soft decking or failing flashing underneath, and the only way to know is to look.
Once the inspection is done, we explain what we found in plain terms and lay out the options. Sometimes that is a targeted repair; sometimes a section of roof has reached the point where patching it again would just be delaying a bigger job. We would rather tell a homeowner honestly which category their roof falls into than sell a repair that will not hold or a replacement that was not needed yet.
After a homeowner decides how they want to proceed, we schedule the visit around their timeline and the weather. Roofing work depends on dry conditions and daylight, so we build in enough flexibility that a delayed start does not turn into a delayed finish. Once a date is set, the crew shows up ready to do the whole job in as few visits as the work allows.

What We Handle
New Haven Roofing Co. handles roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspection, gutter installation, and roof maintenance for houses across our Connecticut service area. That covers the everyday range of roofing needs: patching a leak, replacing worn or missing shingles, tearing off and rebuilding an aging roof system, checking a roof before it becomes a problem, and keeping gutters attached and draining the way they should.
What We Do Not Do
We do not perform general contracting work such as room additions, structural framing, or interior remodeling. Roofing is what the crew trains for and works on every day, and staying inside that lane is part of how the work stays consistent from one property to the next. If a project turns out to need something outside roofing, a full siding replacement or a masonry chimney rebuild, for example, we say so directly instead of taking on work the crew is not set up to do well.
If a roof needs a look, a repair, or a full replacement, call (475) 381-2544 to talk through what you are seeing and get a straightforward next step.
